A few tips to get the most out of your reading:

• Approach it openly. Try to allow yourself some space as you read the description and look at the image. Whatever comes up for you is important so observe thoughts, emotions, memories etc.
  

• Revisit it. After initially taking in the card reading, come back to it later. See if anything new or different comes up for you when you revisit the reading.
  

• Be flexible. Maybe you were hoping for a card that addressed a different issue in your life. You may have even been concentrating on something when you sent in your reading request but the card seems to be addressing some other area of your life. Likely, these two situations are connected and your card is addressing the situation that my intuition picked up on. In my 20+ years of doing this, I’ve learned to trust that you get the message you most need, not always the message you most want.  
  

• Take what resonates and leave the rest. If there is a part of the reading that doesn’t click with you, leave it. Trust your own instincts above anything else.
